On Mittwoch, I said that I would complete the PICAXE-28 project board because I didn't get it all done last time.

To achieve this, I had to 1. Install the series of 330 Ohm resistors 2. Install the microcontroller 3. Test everything.

Did I achieve my goal? Yes, I did achieve my goal, I managed to install the resistors and install the microcontroller, I tested everything, and I also attached the wheels to the motors and soldered the female-female wires to the motors because I wanted to do extra because I finished it so quickly.

What went well? The soldering wasn't very difficult and everything seems to be working great.

What didn't go well? I BURNT MY FINGER SO MANY TIMES!!!!!!

It sucks when you burn the same finger over and over and over and over again. And on that note, Goodbye.

Oh yeah, this is a video of me soldering.

(we're going Spanish this week) On Lunes, I said that I would Complete the PICAXE-28 Project board and by that I mean plug in everything I need to make the board work for my project.

To achieve this, I had to:
 1. Remove certain pins and plug in new ones
2.Tape and solder the pins to the project board
3. Take out the Darlington receiver and plug in a series of 330 Ohm resistors that will reduce the amount of noise that is sent beack to the microcontroller.

Did I achieve my goal? Yes and No, I managed to puet the pins and hold them in with tape but I forgot my soldering gun so I couldn't solder them in. I also took off the Darlington receiver but couldn't get the 330 Ohm resistors on because I had to do some more research and find out the correct way to handle them.

What went well? The Darlington receiver was easy to take off and the pins were easy to insert.

What did not go well? I didn't have my soldering gun with me so the pins right now are held in tape.

I am finally getting started on putting together the Robot and I am extremely excited to continue with Genius Hour.

On Wed Nes Day (WHY WOULD YOU MAKE A WORD LIKE THAT) I said that I would find information on a completely waterproof material that I can line my robot with.

To achieve this, I had to: research multiple materials, find out how why or how they work to be waterproof and find good places to put it on my robot.

Did I achieve my goal? Yes, I did achieve my goal, I found one material called silic that is 100 percent waterproof, even if you stick it underwater for a month, it will be dry.

What went well? I found out how Silic works and why it works. I also found that I would have to create a body for the robot for me to put the Silic on it.

What did not go well? Everything seemed to go pretty well for me so I don't know what to put here. OK Bye

This is getting old, you all know it, so I'm going to switch it up. (The (On Monday, I blahblahblah))

On lundi, I said that I would find information on how the codes make the robot do different things. To achieve that, I had to: Research the codes and what they mean, research the PICAXE 28 Project board and how the codes interact with the board  and research the SHARP camera and how it senses certain things at different distances.

Did I achieve my goal? No, sadly, I did not. I was talking to my teacher and he said that I should do a different project because of the price of the supplies, and so I was thinking of another one. But, when I got home, I found the same kit for much less and it was a lot cheaper and I ordered it, it should be here in about 5 days.

What went well? Well, I finally got my order for the supplies, and as I was looking for another project, I found something that could apply to my project, I wanted to make a jacket that was completely waterproof using a material that water just runs off of, and then I saw that I could still do my robot and I got to thinking, "Why don't I put them together, can I put the material on the robot?" and so if I find the material that I need, I can put it on my robot if we have extra time.

What didn't go well? I didn't research much because I was too busy finding another project to do but now I am more excited than ever.
