So I have a quite a few passions some of them have to do with sports, some of them have to do with music but one my favourite ones is creating contraptions of sorts. Usually with electronics. Ever since I was little, I was more fascinated in how certain contraptions work more than just using them how they're supposed to be used. But I was always frustrated because I didn't know how to take whatever it was apart to observe it. So I thought to myself, why take something apart when I can create something? That way, it will be easier to understand and if I don't understand it, it wouldn't work and I would be driven to find a way for it to work, kind of an intrinsic motivation for me to learn. So I have decided to build something using wiring and circuitry for genius hour, I am absolutely set on building this because I don't think it will be easy and that's exactly what I want, I want to have to persevere and work hard to accomplish the end goal of my project (It's a surprise for the class so I am not sharing what it is until a little bit later).
